**Responsibilities**

• Mentors and counsels Team Members and supervisory staff while enforcing appropriate policies and procedures ensuring compliance of departmental standards

• Responsible for managing a workforce of 100+ Team Members daily

• Responsible for setting leadership standards and enforcing work area location efficiency

• Build internal cross departmental relationships to ensure Team Members are exceeding expectations

• Assists with strategic planning of the Main Entry area that focuses on providing a positive experience for Team Members, guests and ultimately provides positive financial returns

• Acts as training liaison between Main Entry and Learning and Development Departments

• Work closely with Management to coordinate development planning and training for Lead Team Members

• Manage and observe Sales Associates performance to ensure proper coaching and training are implemented

• Manage and oversee weekly Sales Goals

• Conduct one-on-one performance reviews with Sales Associates

• Conduct annual Sales Associates evaluations

• Supports the Team Members and Guest Satisfaction programs (TSAT/GSAT) and ensures the staff understands the importance of the programs

• Assists with the maintenance of both labor and non-labor departmental budgets

• Ensures that collective bargaining agreements are upheld by partnering with HR and Labor Relations to maintain positive union relationships

• Responsible for living the core values and ensuring the staff does the same

• Investigates incidents including employee/guest complaints

• Work with Management to analyze training material to ensure updates occur prior to annual assessment programs

• Monitor and implement best practices

• Participate as a Duty Manager (Entry 1) when needed to support area coverage

• Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications/Requirements**

• Minimum 3 years of operations management experience in sales, customer service, training or high volume retail sales or hospitality industry

• High School or GED required

• Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and nights as required

• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and prolonged periods of standing or sitting depending on assigned duties; walking / traveling to multiple venues throughout the day

• Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

**Desired Characteristics**

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications or other related field

• Ability to deal well with ambiguity and constant change, working in fast-paced environment

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Professional presentation skills with abilities to speak in a group forum

• Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization

• Ability to identify and communicate creative solutions to challenges, and to maintain a consistent focus on priorities with persistent follow-through

• Quick thinker with the ability to make sound decisions

• Knowledge and understanding of P&L and budgets

• Experience managing in a union environment preferred

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage various projects at different stages
