**Job Summary**

"As part of the strategic initiative, Global Delivery Centre (GDC) organisation has been established in AECOM India to provide a wide range of technical services to other parts of AECOM offices around the world. At present, GDC has a core team of 150+ personnel experienced in Building engineering and Transportation design, located in Gurgaon, India. Further growth is underway to meet the plan of establishing 300+ team size, by the end of FY17, to provide technical services in multi-disciplinary building engineering, Architecture and Structural disciplines. In the initial phases of growth, dedicated teams are formed to cater to the needs of UAE and UK offices of AECOM."

AECOM is currently seeking to hire Associate- Interiors to be based at Gurgaon. The Associate will be responsible for developing technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Work is performed with minimal direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Shall oversee the work of less experienced Engineers and Designers. The position will be responsible for managing the design team and developing technically sound solutions, preparing design documentation for international projects, assisting with resourcing and planning, managing cost control as well as supervising and managing intermediate and junior members of engineering staff.

Job Duties:

The Principal/Associate, Corporate Workplace Sector Leader focuses on the skills needed to bring together all services (Architecture, Interiors and Engineering) to support lead region Corporate Real Estate team in addressing their real estate portfolio requirements.

Our GDC, Gurgaon team is actively seeking a Principal/Associate, Corporate Workplace Sector Leader to join our growing practice.

As a Principal/Associate, you will be responsible for the following:


+ Provides day-to-day administration of the GDC, Gurgaon’s Corporate Workplace team serving US Corporate Market practice

+ Will execute defined practice goals and business plan

+ Monitors the status of all Corporate Market projects assigned to GDC, Gurgaon

+ Regularly reports status to US Corporate Market and GDC leadership team

+ Preparing project budget based on scope of work assigned, workload projections


+ Develops and executes strategic planning strategies

+ Periodically act as Project Lead on specific projects

+ Communicates business performance at the end of each accounting period

+ Understands the industry, lead region client needs, and market drivers

+ Clear leader for all disciplines providing services to the Corporate Market Clients: Architecture, Interiors, Engineers

Staff Development:

+ Prepares and delivers staff evaluations

+ Participates in interviews and recruitment of professional staff

+ Conducts employee performance evaluations, responsible for performance development

+ Develops continuing education opportunities for the staff

**Minimum Requirements**

+ 15+ years’ experience in architecture/interior architectural practice with prior management experience in all phases of corporate workplace projects

+ LEED credential

+ Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness

+ Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems

+ Advanced knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines

+ Ability to manage multiple projects of a complex scope

+ Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook, PowerPoint, InDesign or other presentation software

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design
