**Job Summary**

**Job Summary**

Work under the general supervision of the Country Representative and supervise the Business Development Assistant/Officer. Ensure that proposals and EOIs to outside parties are submitted on time, with quality and compliant with AECOM’s branding standards. To do a critical evaluation of what is being submitted and to ensure that it complies with the requirements of the client for all aspects of the submission, e.g., key people, methodology, scope of work, track record, etc.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

1. Technical Skills

vAssisting business lines in the preparation of proposals

vBuilding and maintenance of prospects/projects comprehensive database by administering SalesForce

§Maintenance of updated and accurate prospect lists for monthly reports

§Develop and maintain an accurate statistics of win/loss per sector/client and department

§Maintain a preferred clients list

§Conduct market research/study

vMonitoring and Evaluation

§Plan/conduct assessment and strategic planning workshop

§Elicit feedback from clients

vShall carry out duties in accordance with quality and environmental management system, health and safety policies and procedures.

vShall report quality, environmental, health and safety problems or any suggestions to his/her immediate superior.

vShall perform other related duties that his/her immediate superior may assign from time to time

2. People Skills

vCoordination with consultants/experts

§Develop relationships with prospective clients in cooperation with BLL

§Consistent liaison and networking

§Responsive client management

vCoordination with prospective clients

§Develop relationship with consultants and various experts

§Convene BD meetings fortnightly and develop strategies for winning projects with BLL

3. Commercial Skills

vIncreased revenue projects

§Identify and monitor prospects in coordination with concerned BL

§Win projects

vCoordinated marketing efforts of the Philippine office

§Improve marketing materials for Philippines in coordination with other groups within AECOM

§Increase visibility and participation in possible business networks/associations

§Prepare presentation materials and /make presentations as necessary

vResource assessment: Assessment of available and required resources

**Minimum Requirements**

vKnowledgeable in the workings of engineering and/or environmental industry

vStrong knowledge of the business

vProficient in Market Research & Development, Corporate Communication, Market Planning and Project Studies, and Product Presentation

vStrong communication (written and oral), and negotiation skills

**Preferred Qualifications**

vGraduate of any four year course; Legal background an advantage.

vWith exposure in a multi-laterally financed projects (eg ADB, World Bank, JBIC, AusAID)

vWith at least (5) years of related work experience preferably gained from a multinational engineering firm, and must be in a managerial position for at least five (5) years; ISO 9001 background is a plus
