Position Overview:

The Information Technology division is led by Michael Bradshaw who serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for NBCUniversal. He is responsible for leading and overseeing global technology strategy and applications, along with infrastructure and operations for the company’s worldwide media portfolio. The IT portfolio includes technology for Broadcast and Cable TV, Universal Pictures, News, Parks and Resorts, Sports and Olympics, Digital, Media Labs, and Sales, Research and Analytics, and NBCUniversal’s International group.

The division is comprised of a team of technologists who are responsible for partnering with the lines of business to drive their individual technology strategies, as well as maintaining a solid core technical foundation, enabling the company to manage financial & HR systems, email, network, data and technical service centers, etc. This position will lead and provide strategic guidance to key functions within the IT shared services portfolio, including Infrastructure, Operations and Information Security, and the Technology Architecture functions.


• Partner with senior IT leaders to develop a comprehensive IT strategy for the Global Service Management, Delivery, Operations of infrastructure services supporting corporate function and business unit aligned applications, client services, service desk, enterprise network, and Information Security functions.

• Align NBCU’s business objectives and strategy through appropriate technology planning, service development, building organizational capability and operations management

• Work collaboratively across all Comcast companies to create leverage, technology scale, lowest ownership economics, and talent sharing as appropriate and impactful.

• Establish and maintain relationships with senior leadership across the enterprise

• Provide guidance and support to NBCU executives and divisional leadership, ensuring they understand how to better leverage and partner with the IT team and foster ideas of how technology can enable revenue growth and/or cost savings

• Lead, develop and manage an IT population of approximately 500 full-time staff employees

• Continue to place emphasis on a cultural transition for the organization to an agile, service delivery organization with a global mindset

• Provide direction and support to the IT team to ensure alignment to NBCU goals/strategy, as well as maintaining consistency to the internal philosophy and approach

• Monitor IT trends, innovations and best practices inside and outside of the company and share relevant information with key internal stakeholders


• Minimum of 10 years of IT and business/industry work experience, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing multiple, medium to large, cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders

• Minimum of 5 years of experience building and leading a sizable high performance organization with a track record of driving innovation and business value

• Successful, recent track record of leading a global enterprise Information Technology function, demonstrating strong cultural awareness and the ability to work successfully across the organizational and geographic boundaries

• Passion for and interest in media and entertainment industry highly desired

• Bachelors’ degree in a related field preferred, and an advanced degree is a plus
