**Responsibilities**

Universal Kids is the network for kids 2-12 that aims to widen eyes and open minds.We see kids as they see themselves. The Consumer Marketing Coordinator will report to the Director of Consumer marketing, joining a team developing and executing traditional and non-traditional marketing activations for Universal Kids. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for working with both internal teams and external agencies and will require confidence in communication, process and managing of multiple projects. This position will touch upon on-air promotions, multi-platform media/advertising, events, partnerships, digital and social.



Job Duties

• Assist in the development, project management and execution of marketing campaigns. Including campaign briefs, Go-to-market plans/presentations, reporting and wrap-up analysis.



• Support paid media planning and execution. Work with media agency to develop high-impact integrated campaigns including social, digital, TV, influencers, OOH, and other content creation/partnership opportunities.



• Coordination with internal Digital Team to ensure alignment in editorial calendars as it fits within the overall marketing plan and goals.



• Management of incoming requests for promotions and digital based initiatives. Understanding of on-going multi-platform programming and distribution including VOD, YouTube and Affiliate.



• Prioritize and track deliverables; manage project timelines and creative requests.



• Work with internal team on the development and execution of marketing and campaign deliverables.



• Support consumer product and ecommerce initiatives.



• Build and maintain relationships within Universal Kids and NBCU portfolio to identify and create internal collaboration to strengthen marketing support and plans.



• Work both independently and with the team on overall day-to-day activities and tasks.



• Attend and play an integral role in all day-to-day marketing communications with agencies and clients.



• Continuously identify and evaluate vendors and partnership opportunities to share with the team.

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Familiarity with television/kids or kids entertainment.

• At least 1 year of prior work and/or internship

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint etc.)

**Desired Characteristics**

• Marketing, media, entertainment experience – brand or agency.

• Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus.

• Strong time management and organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Passionate about marketing with the ability to ideate and stay ahead of key marketplace trends.

• Solid oral, written and presentation skills – ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

• Professional demeanor, willingness to roll up sleeves and get the job done but open to a fun, fast-paced culture.
