3650 KPTV The Digital Account Manager will focus on SMB companies consulting with local business owners and marketing managers on their digital advertising and marketing needs. Successful candidate will generate revenue by offering the Meredith Digital Solutions, Local Media Group suite of products (Advanced Targeting, Digital Marketing, and Multi-platform solutions including product integration and television commercials) to meet clients’ goals and objectives

Essential Job Functions

95% - Digital Budget Attainment:  Identify key clients to target through various prospecting strategies.  Secure meeting to discuss advertising and marketing needs.  Work collaboratively with the prospect to tailor the solution that best meets their needs.  Maximize customer retentions through developing relationships with key accounts and delivering on digital solutions.  Success will be determined by meeting or exceeding budget expectations.

5% - Industry Networking: Stay abreast of changes and advancements within the digital industry through memberships, trades, and webinars. 

Minimum Qualifications:   All must be met to be considered


College graduate with a BA/BS in business, marketing or related field with a strong academic record, and/or equivalent work experience.


3-5 years of successful experience generating new revenue and developing accounts in the digital sales industry.

Proven digital seller with strong track record of building and maintaining sales relationships while using keen interpersonal skills including: persuasion, negotiation, cooperation, diplomacy and planning.

Must be a highly-motivated self-starter having a strong understanding of the sales process with a record of attaining top sales goals. 

Full understanding of digital analytics, as well as content and sales applications for various digital platforms.

Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities while providing excellent business solutions.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Exemplary listening skills with the ability to understand client needs and manage expectations of results.

Must have strong ethics and be a credible resource to the company.
