**Responsibilities**

• Implement and oversee change management and communications programs that strengthen employee knowledge and skills to achieve company goals.

• Serve as the communications liaison between human resources and corporate affairs teams to work on projects that ensure alignment with the overall company strategy.

• Influence and support HR with changes in organizational behavior, as well as facilitate team building and changes in norms values and corporate culture.

• Use various media to aid in the communications process and work with the Internal Communications team and IT to maximize the use of technology across the company.

• Create excitement and engagement among our employees for the new global HQ, liaising with the Employee Experience department to foster frequent and streamlined communications about the move to the new state-of-the art facility.

• The Director, along with his/her direct report, will organize and produce all employee-focused communications related to the global headquarters.

• Leverage specialized internal communications platforms (digital screens, apps, newsletter, intranet, etc.) to further evolve the company culture through an emphasis on the company values: ownership, pioneering spirit, agility, teamwork and integrity.

• Implement internal communications and engagement strategies for NBCU Telemundo Enterprises along with the Internal Communications Director regarding key company initiatives and programs, as well as positioning and strategy for overall message, tone and voice.

• Partner with Human Resources to interpret data and determine effective communication strategies from employee opinion surveys, focus groups and event surveys, among others.

• Continuously evaluate the most efficient platforms and behaviors to share internal information, updates and knowledge.

• Manage crisis communications and the process of engaging executive management responses to unexpected events.

• Work with the marketing team to contribute to the corporation’s strategic goals in advancing the image and our distinct brand identity through local, regional and nationwide locations.

• Establish templates and tools for maintaining a consistent approach to regular communications.

• Conduct research and manage mechanisms for gathering feedback and employee reactions to changes and new initiatives.

• Develop and implement appropriate metrics to evaluate the success and impact of internal communications strategies and initiatives, including teammate feedback to allow continuous improvement of the actual communications and the messages.

**Qualifications/Requirements**

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, HR, communications or journalism discipline.

• Minimum 4+ years of relevant internal communications strategies and communications management experience.

• Proven experience in managing, designing and implementing strategies, policies and procedures relating to Organizational Communications.

• Strong track record of delivering innovative digital communications platforms and products, including intranets, shared workspaces, forums, blogs, electronic news/emails and virtual meeting applications.

• Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills, as well as the journalistic ability to source stories from employees in both Spanish and English.

• Solid speaking skills to give presentations to employees.

• Ability to exercise a high level of discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.

• Turn plans into successfully implemented actions, often within tight and unmovable deadlines.
