**Job Summary**

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Entry Level Water Engineer for immediate employment in our state-of-the-art water system planning group at the Steven's Point, WI office. This position will focus on work associated with water distribution system modeling and will assist with projects related to drinking water improvements and planning associated with drinking water systems.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Perform assignments requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.

+ Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives

+ Moderate to complex drinking water system evaluations and project tasks

+ Water system planning, design, modeling/hydraulic modeling, cost estimating and spreadsheet analyses

+ Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member

Some of the work for this position will focus on computerized water distribution system hydraulic modeling, water quality studies and water system master planning.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's degree in either Environmental or Civil Engineering

+ Experience with hydraulic modeling, including proficiency in one of the following softwares: H20NET, H20Map, InfoWater, WaterCAD, or WaterGEMS

+ Proficiency with computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets and related applications

+ Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ ​Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Familiarity with Graphical Information Systems (GIS)
