**Role Summary**

The HR Generalist will provide Human Resources support for NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises in the greater Miami, FL area.


Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Provide broad locational HR support for NBCUniveral Telemundo Enterprises, participate in and lead division and corporate HR initiatives

+ Drive strategic HR-related planning, organization design & integration, staffing, compensation planning, manager coaching, employee development, compliance and performance management

+ Manage key HR initiatives, including: succession planning, performance management, training advisement, organization planning, compensation planning and title standardization

+ Provide HR guidance and feedback to employees and managers regarding employee relations issues. Assume leadership role in resolving employee relations issues and associated coaching

+ Work to resolve employee and organizational issues in a proactive and positive manner

+ Interpret and implement HR policies, practices and procedures for managers, teams and individual employees that further the mission, values and strategic vision of the business

+ Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment, which encourages the full use of diverse talents and abilities; act as an employee advocate

+ Manage staffing process working with clients and our internal recruiting team to identify recruitment strategies as well as ensure diverse candidate slates and top quality candidate selection

+ Work closely and partner with several HR leaders to ensure consistent HR practices across related organizations


**Basic Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field of study

+ Minimum 3 years relevant HR experience including recruiting, employee development, organizational development, compliance and compensation

+ Ability to communicate in Spanish at expert level both Verbal & Written **Eligibility Requirements**

+ Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV through to be considered

+ Must be willing to work in greater Miami, FL area

+ Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

+ Must be willing to travel for work related business as necessary

+ Bilingual: ability to read, write and speak in English and Spanish.

**Desired Characteristics**

+ Master’s degree in HR, Labor Relations, or related field

+ Strong analytical, project and process management skills; demonstrated track record of delivering results

+ Previous experience with a technical and/or production workforce

+ Demonstrated ability to translate 'big picture' business strategy into an HR plan which can be executed

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and facilitation skills

+ Strong employee-relations skill set; can earn trust and credibility with employees in assigned groups

+ Excellent presentation skills: ability to synthesize data and cohesively present information

+ Strong client-support orientation, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and with a wide range of clients, individually and in groups

+ Demonstrated coaching/mentoring/leadership skills; change agent; results orientation; high energy; comfortable handling multiple tasks and competing priorities

+ Previous experience with a technical workforce

+ Previous experience working in a union environment

+ Demonstrated ability to translate 'big picture' business strategy into an HR plan which can be executed

+ Project and process management skills, demonstrated track record of delivering results

+ Previous experience in cable, television or entertainment industry
