Job Description:


Hearst Television (HTV) seeks an experienced Graphic Animator/Compositor with exceptional design and organizational skills to join our corporate graphics hub team based in Orlando, FL as Motion Designer/Compositor. Working closely with HTV Design’s custom design team and select local stations, the position is responsible for designing and creating animated elements and sequences for local promotion, news and sales departments that are compatible with the current group-wide graphics package.


Job Responsibilities:                                                

  • Working with Director of Graphics Operation, Brand Resource Manager and custom design team, build professional relationships with creative services, news and sales personnel across select HTV stations
  • Deep understanding of the role of graphics in building local brands
  • Working with HTV Design and select HTV markets, create, execute and support local brand-building initiatives for creative services, news and sales
  • Skills to collaborate one-on-one with local creative services and sales personnel to deliver custom station and client project elements
  • Ability to multitask and  work on a wide variety of projects crossing several stations at the same time
  • Work in a collaborative, hands on, and results driven environment

Experience Requirements:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, to include Illustrator, Photoshop and Premiere, After Effects and Cinema 4D, to deliver polished, print ready and motion graphics to stations
  • 2D and 3D motion design for commercial and promotional content
  • Non-linear editing with expertise in Premiere

Qualifications Requirements:                                            

  • Extraordinary visualization, conceptualization, and graphic design skills with strong background in print, motion design, and non-linear editing
  • Portfolio work should demonstrate knowledge of current industry trends and techniques
  • Project management from concept to delivery of materials
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, to include presentation skills, both in person and remotely via Skype

Education:                                        

 

Bachelor’s recommended, however, professional or military experience and a strong portfolio strongly considered
