KTLA5, Los Angeles, is in search of an experienced News Center/ TOC operator.

 

The position requires knowledge in all forms of transmission. routing, and server recordings. The NC operator will handle all incoming microwave, satellite, DEJERO feeds along with external feeds for recording. . They will also handle all outgoing transmissions to other Tribune stations, CNN, etc.

KTLATV5 currently does 68 hours of local news in a geographically challenging area with regards to microwave and satellite transmissions. This position requires maximum flexibility for various shifts.

This position requires a minimum of two years’ experience and reports toe the Manager , News Operations.
