**Job Summary**

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented and motivated Planner for immediate employment in the Honolulu, HI office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Serve as a Project Planner team member, and in some cases Manager and/or Leader for land use planning assignments responsible for the preparation of master plans and site plans

+ Responsible for performing project research, conducting site visits, data collection and analysis, report writing, interactions with fellow team members, clients, outside technical experts, and community stakeholders

+ Other duties as assigned

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, engineering, architecture, landscape architecture and/or equivalent degree conferring advanced knowledge in facilities and land use planning

+ 5+ years of experience

+ Project management experience

+ Experience developing and editing ARC Geographical Information System (GIS) mapping products

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office software – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

+ Must have familiarity with the consulting industry, the ability to work independently or as the member/leader of a multi-discipline planning team

+ Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills to effectively interact with teams of staff, sub consultants, and clients

+ Must have the ability to write concise technical documents

+ Ability to multi-task effectively to accommodate working on various simultaneous and diverse projects and to follow through to completion all assigned and delegated tasks

+ Must have knowledge and proficiency working with and producing products using ArcGIS

+ Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Master’s Degree or Certificate in Urban and Regional Planning and/or equivalent degree conferring advanced knowledge in facilities and land use planning

+ American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Certification

+ Relevant project experience in Hawaii

+ Experience in federal agency planning

+ Experienced in the use of Adobe Illustrator and In Design software

+ Experienced in the use of 2D/3D CAD software

+ GIS professional (GISP) certification

+ Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

+ Excellent Leadership Skills
