**Responsibilities**

In this role, the Product Manager of Digital Products will work with a highly skilled, cross-functional team to strategize and execute plans to develop products and features for our English and Spanish speaking audiences. The candidate will manage the evolution of the product roadmap and offerings for the NBC Owned Television Stations Group, which includes owned NBC, necn, Telemundo Owned Stations COZI-TV and TeleXitos. The ideal candidate will have a passion for consumer-led design, technology and news (particularly local) and is a collaborative, problem-solver with a knack for working across functions and roles in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities



+ Build the next generation of product features for apps, mobile web, desktop and emerging platforms, focusing on delivering the best and most relevant information for our audience.

+ Envision, define and communicate the product roadmap. Evangelize the product vision with new ideas and product features

+ Perform data-driven prioritization of features that meet audience and business needs; set minimal viable product releases

+ Know and define the audience; understand what they want and need from digital products in their daily lives

+ Proactively measure and understand how the audience interacts with the products

+ Work with Engineering, UX, QA, AdOps and Research to ensure product concepts meet all needs; present to senior management and station stakeholders

+ Work with our station contacts to understand and incorporate unique needs into the product planning process

+ Promote Agile product management processes, and develop detailed presentations, requirements, project plans and use cases accounting for all scenarios of a product release

+ Manage all aspects of the cross-functional team, including inter-team communications and crisp, results oriented meetings

+ Develop marketing plans in collaboration with the marketing team

+ Skillfully manage stakeholder relationships with internal teams and 3rd parties

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications



+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ Graduate degree (MBA) may be considered in lieu of experience

+ Detail oriented and contagious self-starter personality

+ Minimum (1-3) one to three years experience with digital product and project management responsibilities

+ Versed in Agile product management methodology and tools

+ Minimum (1-3) one to three years of experience with online consumer-facing digital products

+ Product releases involving and an understanding of advertising system integrations, mobile and product marketing technologies, in addition to editorial content management, online video technologies, and social media platform technologies

+ Proven history of managing multiple product efforts

+ Amazing organizational skills; knows how to coordinate and manage all details of a product release, from start to launch and beyond

+ Able to read and synthesize product metrics, and make suggestions based on measured product results

+ Passion for digital products and how people use them

+ Effective written and oral communication skills, as well as an effective presenter

+ Able to articulate product technical solutions to development resources

**Desired Characteristics**

Desired Qualifications



+ Experience with the local media / news landscape, including both web and mobile / app solutions

+ Experience working in a news publishing organization is a plus

+ Solid understanding of social media landscape and applications, especially best practice usage

+ Experience with weather technology and digital experiences is a plus

+ 2+ years with a media / entertainment company

+ PMP or Scrum Alliance certification or equivalent project management certification a plus

+ Spanish Language fluency also a plus
