**Responsibilities**

**Role Summary:**

The Production Audit department performs on-site compliance and financial audits of NBCUniversal’s film productions. Specifically, as a Production Auditor, you will work closely with Studio production related departments (i.e. Production Finance, Physical Production, Tax, Labor Relations, Business & Legal Affairs, Transportation, Safety, etc.) to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures, local and federal laws, and labor union requirements, as well as to review supporting documentation as it relates to a film’s Cost Reports to determine reasonableness, completeness, accuracy, and validity of the reported production expenses.

**Essential Responsibilities:**



+ Travel to production offices, local and distant, and perform detailed reviews of accounting documents (i.e. Cost Reports, Budgets, invoices, purchase orders, petty cash, cast and crew payroll, etc.) and production documents (Scripts, Call Sheets, Production Reports, DOT, etc.), and subsequently document the audit findings.

+ Interact with various Studio, Accounting, and Production personnel to ensure understanding of departmental policies and procedures.

+ Present audit findings to the Accounting and Production teams, as well as to senior Studio Executives associated with the production.

+ Prepare an Audit Report detailing all audit findings and respective corrective action plans.

+ Perform special projects as necessary, including financial audits, cost audits, data analysis, policy research, etc. These projects may include involvement with Development Finance, Animation, Live Theater productions, and Music.

**Qualifications/Requirements**

Basic Qualifications:



+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

+ At least two years of related work experience.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

+ Must be able to travel, including internationally, up to approximately 45% (every year).Eligibility Requirements:

**Desired Characteristics**

+ CPA or CIA (preferred but not required).

+ Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm or internal audit experience with an entertainment company.

+ Film production knowledge is a plus.

+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to easily communicate with both on-site Production personnel and senior Studio Executives.

+ Advanced Excel data analytical skills.

+ Excellent verbal and writing skills.

+ Team player with the ability to work and travel alone.

+ Self-starter with initiative.
