**Job Summary**

Reporting directly to Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), for the Construction Services (CS) operating unit of AECOM. Works directly with Vice President, FP&A for CS and CS senior management including CFO, President, and COOs for Construction Services.

The ideal candidate should have solid analytical, communication, time management skills, be team oriented and have a strong work ethic. Perform financial analyses; create and manage spreadsheets and databases; create reports and presentations in both Excel and PowerPoint, and perform various analytic tasks to support strategy, financial planning, and operations for the construction business across North America.

Statement of Work including but not limited to:

+ Responsible for preparing financial forecasts a monthly and quarterly basis. Working closely with Accounting to understand revenue recognition rules and accurately projecting future revenue under GAAP

+ Monitor the status of construction projects and as well as new pursuits. Understanding project performance to correlating to the operational and financial impact

+ Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports between operating unit senior management and AECOM executives

+ Aid in the planning and preparation of annual operating plans

+ Monitor operations of regional business units across North America and participate in monthly financial and operational reviews across all segments of the North America construction business

+ Assist in due diligence on potential M&A targets

+ Provide pertinent financial data to various departments for external purposes (e.g. marketing proposals, investor or press releases, industry financial surveys, etc.)

+ Compile financial data and prepare analysis as requested by various business unit and parent company departments (HR, Strategic Planning, Communications, Corporate Finance, etc.)

+ Assist in preparation of analysis specifically for use by Investor Relations in preparation for quarterly earnings calls

+ Perform market research and cost analyses. Make recommendations that will have an effect on the management of the company based on the above analyses.

+ Conduct research and analysis, prepare reports and make recommendations based on findings

+ Coordinate with corporate departments to collect and analyze data to prepare reports required by senior management.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ One to five years of work experience

+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, construction management or related fields is required

+ Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.

+ Ability to work with different levels of both technical and administrative personnel

+ Expertise with quantitative analysis, particularly under tight time constraints

+ Proficient presentation and writing skills

+ Ability to maintain confidential, corporate information and answer requests by senior management

+ Commitment to detail including the ability to incorporate edits and follow standard formats.

+ Excellent communicator including the desire to ask questions and learn from co-workers.

+ Ability to prioritize tasks with a commitment to completing tasks with urgency and within established deadlines

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Project Finance, Project Accounting, or FP&A experience (education and/or job experience) is preferred

+ Experience in construction or real estate industry, is desired but not required

+ Experience with financial modeling
