**Job Summary**

We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with proven post degree qualification experience in electrical engineering, to work within the AECOM Building Services Team, in Building Engineering located in our Cardiff office.

The Cardiff office is a large multidisciplinary office set within the City Centre on Callaghan Square. With its central location, it is only 10 minutes from the national rail station, and 10 minute walk away from the central shopping areas. Along with its thriving sports and social club it is a friendly, busy and motivated office, whose Buildings team get involved in local and national projects. In terms of Building Engineering, it is a UK centre of excellence for education, healthcare and sustainability.

Our clients are a mix of contractors, education facilities and Healthcare Organisations and recent projects out Cardiff office have completed are;

+ Computational Foundry for Swansea University

+ Atrium Building for Cardiff School or Art & Design

+ Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama

+ Penarth Learning Community

**Minimum Requirements**

- An Electrical Engineer or Building Services Engineer.

- Relevant experience in Electrical Engineering design, including areas such as specification writing, calculations, Low voltage distribution.

- A track record of having worked on a variety of Building Services designs across multiple sectors with experience in Healthcare essential

- Experience of seeing conceptual designs through to completion and dealing directly with clients.

- A highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a member of a professional Institution or close to achieving professional chartered status.

- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, able to inspire, influence and negotiate

- Able to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way

- Excellent report writing skills, experience of making presentations and attending meetings with clients essential
