**Job Summary**

Performs a variety of administration/professional human resource functions in areas such as recruitment, compensation, employee relations, training and development, EEO/Affirmative Action, and benefits administration. Responsible for processing changes in (i.e. employee status, pay, benefits etc.), ensuring data is complete, entering data into HRMS, and providing guidance to staff regarding human resources policies and procedures. May research information about various topics, as requested. Assists in overseeing the HR day-to-day support for the assigned division.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Assists in administration of HR programs for the business program.

+ Assists with administering the Performance Management Process for the business program.

+ Identifies and solves administrative problems which hinder effective and efficient operations

+ Responsible for facilitating resolution to employee relations matters and minimizing risks to company.

+ Assist with the development, maintenance, and implementation of business program policies and procedures.

+ Contributes to the development, implementation, and interpretation of new and existing HR programs.

+ Responsible for the tracking and trending of HR data in areas of responsibility.

+ Contribute to initiatives that will enhance motivation, team-building and general welfare.

+ Participates in the processing of terminations and conducting exit interviews.

+ Assists in organizational training and development efforts.

+ Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database as needed.

+ Conducts designated new employee orientations.

+ Responsible for Employee Relations issues within assigned area as well as Investigations.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

+ Some travel required (20%).

**Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent and 7 years of experience in either HR Generalist or Specialist roles.

+ HRMS experience required.

+ Active US Security Clearance an/or ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph.


+ Proactive collaboration within a HR team.

+ Demonstrated ability to impact and influence others.

+ Operating experience within a complex, changing environment.

+ Government Contractor experience preferred.

**Preferred Qualifications**

PHR or SPHR (and/or equivalent SHRM certification) certification.

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
