The Gensler Atlanta office has a great opportunity to work with leading, world class clients on stimulating projects as Senior Interior Designer.  The ideal candidate should have with extensive experience delivering large scale Corporate Interiors Projects.  
 
Responsibilities:
• Lead interior design teams on projects 
• Lead the orchestration and strategy of design presentations. 
• Ability to ideate quickly and lead a team through the ideation process utilizing computational design tools. 
• Produce design and technical deliverables for all phases of a project. 
• Conceptual thinking and problem solving to develop project narratives and design concepts 
• Develop space planning concepts based in strategy and generate program documents
• Participate in selection of furniture systems and specifications
• Provide project team coordination for finish plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction
• Work with consultants, furniture dealers, product reps, and fabricators to meet overall project objectives
• Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination
• Leverage oneself beyond project-based focus to address greater office and regional issues.  
• Continually improve the quality of our work, the manner in which we deliver it and the process we employ to attain it.  
• Build, nurture and foster new relationships with a broad client base. 
• Work closely with Design Directors and Regional Design Directors across the firm to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy and facilitate its advancement in respective offices and across the firm. 
• Be an integral part in the growth and success of the workplace Practice Area.  
• Effectively communicate and implement the key strategic initiatives and become an influential “Voice” of design
• Influencing and mentor junior team members 
 
 Requirements:
• Licensed Architect or NCIDQ Certified Designer
• Bachelor’s degree, in interior design or architecture
• Outstanding graphic presentation skills
• Computer skills:  Strong Revit user and knowledge of Adobe Suites, SketchUp and/or 3-D Studio Max
• Flexibility to focus on a large client account with a variety of project types -or- multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development
• Ability to work with a large project team, across multiple offices
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate design ideas and direction quickly
• Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-management skills
• LEED accreditation
• Excellent written + verbal communication and management skills to include leadership, organization and client relationship management skills
• Collaborative and team-conscious 
• Ability to handle difficult situations with tact, grace and style
• Must have the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships
