**Role Summary:**

The franchise strategy team is devoted to developing global business strategies to drive the growth of NBCUniversal brands and franchises by creating and managing innovative plans that maximize NBCU IP, such as Fast & Furious, American Ninja Warrior, Despicable Me, Trolls and more, across the company to help ensure long-term success of the brands, and ultimately drive revenue and long-term value for NBCUniversal.

Our team partners closely with internal and external stakeholders including Universal Pictures, Dreamworks, NBC, Marketing, Digital Games, Consumer Products, Home Entertainment, Theme Parks, and filmmakers to evaluate and build compelling business plans.

The Senior Manager will support all Global Franchise Strategy initiatives with a focus on global strategic business plans for franchises that drive revenue and build brands. Specifically, this role will be responsible for new and developing Television brands and reports to the Franchise Strategy Director.

**Essential Responsibilities:**


+ Partner with Franchise Director to develop overarching franchise plans for key properties and help build IP evaluations for new properties

+ Guide Publishing, Live Events and TV in Narrative Extensions and Strategy

+ Partner with Consumer Products teams to develop and drive franchise opportunities, especially annual themes/refreshes and bridge programs

+ Collaborate with key stakeholders in development of bridge content and digital/social strategy to manage lifecycle for franchise

+ Drive integrated planning to track and build company-wide brand initiatives

+ Analyze potential distribution partners to maximize content viewership

+ Partner with team coordinator to track and share examples of worldwide best practices in strategy development, marketing and merchandise

+ Manage franchise development and content budgetMarketing:

+ Develop Franchise Brand Overview & Guidelines; serve as brand champion and ambassador to ensure brand accuracy and consistency

+ Brief and collaborate with Multimedia to develop specific global sales tools, including pitch materials, sell sheets and sizzles

+ Share key marketing materials, pitches, and brand information with global stakeholders

+ Partner with cross-divisional teams to maximize brand campaigns

+ Support Director in managing marketing and event activations


Basic Qualifications:

+ Undergraduate degree in business, marketing or related field required

+ MBA a plus

+ 5-7 years of experience in a marketing and/or franchise strategy role

+ Understanding of consumer products licensing and retail a must

+ Solid understanding of building and executing brand plans

+ Solid experience with brand and digital marketingEligibility Requirements:
