**Responsibilities**

Lead and oversee Universal Parks and Resorts global marketing and experience analytics function. This new role to Universal has global responsibility for all sites worldwide. The scope of the role includes direct management and oversight for a build and run next generation marketing and experience management group whose responsibilities include: product management for marketing and experience platform design, development and deployment, the development and management of an integrated ecosystem of targeting and analytic tool suites, all marketing operations and business intelligence, the oversight for omni-channel measurement and analytics and a growing and robust data science capability and team.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:**

**Strategic Marketing Platform and Operations Management:**



+ Lead and oversee the execution of the marketing and experience data platform and operations product management team, plans and roadmaps

+ Manage both internal technology, used to manage and analyze marketing operations, and external technology, including all platforms used to reach target and key audiences

+ Devise and deploy best in class marketing operations – people, process and technology

+ Devise and deploy best in class business intelligence – people, process and technology

+ Ensure compliance with all applicable data privacy regulations and policies

+ Act as key data steward for Marketing and Sales

**Omni-Channel Analytics and Data Science:**



+ Provide daily leadership to the core analytic and data science functions across UPR.Insure the teams work fluidly and collaboratively both together and across Universal business departments to develop, communicate and synthesize strategic insights and recommendations aimed at providing insight and direction to key business strategies, issues and opportunities.

+ Develop a work and process framework to insure high quality and highly repeatable action oriented insights and analyses

**Department Leadership and Development:**



+ Lead and implement a global analytic capability development roadmap across all UPR sites.

+ Achieve operational excellence and advances by building a high-performing team to achieve and exceed goals and objectives

+ Supervise and mentor direct reports/team members in day-to day management and administration of UPR analytic and capability development

**Vendor Management:**

Manage initial and introductory relationships with vendors and outside service providers as it relates to marketing technology systems implementation. Engage in quarterly vendor relationships to ensure a consistent, high level of service and performance.

**Budget & Process Management Tools:**



+ Manage department budget

**Qualifications/Requirements**

**EDUCATION:** Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is required. Advanced degree preferred. Degrees (preferred) in statistics and/or advanced mathematics. Engineering or applicable science degrees degrees will also be considered.

**EXPERIENCE:** 15+ years marketing analytics and supporting technology management experience supporting paid, owned and earned media and customer experience:



+ Proficiency in creating and leveraging advanced analytics and techniques to discover, define, distill and communicate strategic insights and recommendations

+ Deep experience in building and leading a diverse and global team of marketing technologists and analytics professionals

+ Experience in developing and managing media mix and attribution

+ Expert knowledge of Enterprise Marketing Management tools and systems

+ Expert knowledge of customer centric driven marketing strategies and programs

+ Experience in managing technology partnership relationships both internal and external

+ Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills, and be able to explain complex concepts both concisely and simply

+ Proven ability to maintain a high-level of client service

+ Demonstrated ability to define and execute strategic initiatives

+ Experience with project management and creative tools and resourcesBudget Management
