SPA - Application Specialist Payroll

Solve incidences, problems and perform client requests related to changes in payroll system configuration and system adaptations.

As a member of the Level 2 Support team, the role includes the following main tasks:

  • Participate in internal workshops for gathering information about Client`s requirements.
  • Review client specific handover documentation from implementation team, identifying possible gaps before passing the implementation to regular service.
  • Responsible for setup/configuration of system/applications in accordance to client requests (Master Data, Wagetypes, User authorization,...)
  • Identify and document technical issues to be escalated to product management or other departments for its resolution.
  • Resolution of incidences received from Level 1 Support team.
  • Incidences analysis for problems identification, root-cause analysis and its resolution.


SENIOR PROFILE:

  • Functional Knowledge: basic payroll and finance knowledge.
  • Product Knowledge: knowledge of payroll systems.
  • Technical knowledge: experience working in IBM Mainframe environment.


EDUCATION/TRAINING :

  • Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in education and experience.


BUSINESS EXPERIENCE :

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience.

  • Analytical capacity for solving complex problems.
  • Used to execute testing processes.
  • Used to prepare technical documentation.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and work with different teams.
  • Ability to exercise judgment within defined procedures/practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Ability to maintain focus and work effectively with multiple demands.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to accomplish tasks.
  • Strong client service orientation.
  • Time management skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate learning agility and critical thinking skills and apply basic concepts in new situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English
