ADP is hiring an Associate Financial Analyst to support Finance and Operations. This role will assist the Finance Managers and Finance Analysts in supporting the Operations team via Financial Analysis in addition to performing BU Buddy and Financial Controls activities. Key activities to support include: Monthly Close Review, General Ledger Review, Month End Reporting, assisting Analysts on BU requests, utilizing Financial Systems to pull relevant data and information, HCM Changes, HD Creations, Re-classes, Payroll Code Review, Employee Data Distribution, and other Ad Hoc system related approvals and maintenance. Additionally, the Associate Financial Analyst will support the Finance Managers and Finance Analysts in partnering with business leaders by ensuring sound Financial Controls via the utilization of systems including Ariba, Requisitions (PeopleFluent), Open Invoice, Tririga, and Severance Approval/Tracking. The Associate Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for assisting their Finance Managers and Finance Analysts in providing Financial Analysis, BU Buddy and Financial Controls support to each of the Business Units within ADP: GES, MAS, AVS, SBS, Sales Finance, Corporate Departments, and Total Source.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Business Analysis: Uses deep understanding of objectives, issues and root causes and provides insightful, fact-based data analysis to help solve complex problems. Assists Finance Managers and Finance Analysts in creating financial models, research and analyses of trends, leading indicators and business statistics. Utilizes data infrastructure by extracting, aggregating, and dissecting financial data and performance metrics and highlights findings for management review.
  • Planning and Forecasting: Supports Finance leaders in creating an annual operating plan that is aligned to the strategic plan and assists Finance Managers and Finance Analysts in forecasting to provide visibility into business results that enable business decisions.
  • Financial Operations Oversight: Ensures continued compliance with finance policies and procedures. Assists Finance Managers and Finance Analysts with Management Reporting and Financial Close activities while assisting in the production and distribution of recurring and ad hoc management reports.
  • HCM Changes: Supports Operations in the process of collecting and re-coding Associate data based on requests initiated by Business Partners via e-mail. By working with the Operational Managers and Business Partners, the BU Buddy processes changes and adjustments to Associates' coding.
  • Employee Data Management: Act as main interface of support for updating and maintaining Associate and Temp Home Department coding via multiple Payroll and Accounting systems, process re-classes for Headcount and FTEs, review and update Payroll Codes, distribution of Employee Data upon request, and review of Associates to verify bonus eligibility.
  • System Approvals: Ensures the timely review and approval of headcount requisitions, procurement purchases and requests, etc. via the utilization of systems such as Ariba, PeopleFluent, Open Invoice, and Tririga.
  • Ad Hoc: Act as main interface of support for special circumstances that arise including, but not limited to, mass re-coding in support of future organizational re-structuring initiatives.

QUALIFICAITONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree (completed or in progress)
  • 0 - 3 Years of Experience in a business environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • Business Analysis and Acumen: Demonstrates organized and disciplined problem solving skills; has solid analytical skills and uses persistence, experience and judgment to solve problems and offer insights.
  • Information Management Acumen: Has solid desktop application skills, specifically strong Excel skills including the ability to create basic macros; familiarity with required systems (Hyperion) is preferred; learns new technology and databases quickly and is adept at using data to create reports.
  • Influential Business Partner: Builds working relationships and is a proactive communicator who conveys messages clearly; understands the importance of good communications (informing, involving), demonstrates a comfort in speaking up, and can deal with conflict.
