Business Development Manager will help drive Boston 25’s new business development (NBD) sales effort. Build an “everyday focus” on business development to encourage prospecting, cold calling, filling the funnel and Go to market Strategy. Utilize and present all of CMG’s resources to offer the best solution to grow our clients’ business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Prospecting, tracking, developing campaigns and ideas that are executed for All BOSTON 25 Sellers.
• Leading and Coaching of NBD sales team
• Hire, train and motivate NBD AE’s to sell across all CMG initiatives
• Develop and monitor performance accountability systems. 
• Assist in accurately forecasting new business revenue throughout year & exceed quarterly & annual forecasts.
• Establish employee goals and conduct employee performance reviews. 
• Create and implement new business sales packages and presentations. Help create ideas, presentations, meetings, and close business.
• Utilize Research Director in creation of research/sales pieces to assisting in sales efforts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • 4 Years in Sales Management or 10+ years in Media Sales and management is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or four to five years related experience in sales representative position; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
