Business Performance Improvement Consultant

An experienced Business Performance Improvement Consultant with a track record in delivering process change and business transformation.

Collaboratively supporting business partners across Celergo Streamline Implementation teams and more broadly within ADP, identifying opportunities for improvement and working with them to plan delivery of solutions.

Knowledge of performance improvement/process analysis techniques and 'Lean' methodology is essential, from inception, selection, business case, delivery and benefits realization.

You will need to be industry knowledgeable and a confident, experienced facilitator and communicator with strong influencing & negotiation skills as benefits will be realized from matrixed teams

 

Main purpose of the role:

  • Following a recent acquisition large productivity opportunities present themselves as we transform our Clients implementation journey
  • Working with CSL leadership and functional teams to identify BPI opportunities, lead efficiency projects to improve the operational productivity, classically measured in Starts$/FTE
  • This includes working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to lead delivery of change, from opportunity identification through to delivery and benefits realization.
  • For FY20 alone BPI projects in order of $2m need to be identified and set in initiated to just maintain current Starts $/FTE, with a further $1m of opportunity to further contribute to the NOI
  • In addition to financial NOI focus this role will identify projects to tackle other opportunities within CSL, in areas such as project delays and no starts, time to implement, clients satisfaction and ESI tool adoption, all presenting contribution factors to the business
  • To track full in-year and carry-over benefits collaboratively and gain ratification of each from appropriate financial functions

 

Activities to expect:

  • Work with the senior leadership across the firm to identify, analyze and prioritize opportunities to improve the operational efficiency of the firm, and develop these projects into a joined up and continuous improvement plan
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams across the firm to develop solutions to operational issues. This will include process analysis and streamlining, technology application or change, and organization change
  • Manage key stakeholders to gain their trust and buy-in to the projects, from inception through to implementation
  • Draw on the wider skills within the firm to deliver effective change and drive continued improvement in efficiency of core operational processes and systems
  • Bring external experience and best practice thinking and methodologies and apply these to effect positive change
  • Work with the Head of Business Improvement to define and implement a standard approach to efficiency improvement across the firm

 

Role specific knowledge

  • Financially literate, with a high degree of business acumen
  • Business process streamlining qualification or experience
  • Prince 2/APMP or equivalent project management knowledge and qualification or experience
  • Excellent business analysis skills
  • Strong change management skills, with experience of delivering change in a professional service environment would be beneficial
  • Strong IT skills, including process mapping / analysis tools (eg Visio)
  • Strong facilitation skills, demonstrated through experience of running process business improvement workshops or similar
  • Excellent communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively with and influence stakeholders in all areas and at all levels within the firm
  • Excellent stakeholder management / change management skills
