Position Title Business Transformation Consultant I

Job Summary

AECOMs Asset Management Team provides facility and utility analysis, life cycle cost engineering, and capital investment recommendations. Specific services include: asset management planning; asset inventory and barcoding; facility condition and risk assessments; business process and software system services and integration; program management; capital planning; and asset management training and implementation. While the facility condition assessment work follows defined process and precedents have been set, employees are expected to plan and organize their work in a logical sequence, and work within a team structure.

Responsibilities and skills include:

  • Knowledge of and experience with facility condition assessments

  • Knowledge of and experience with principles and practices of architectural systems, project prioritization, and building programming

  • Knowledge of and experience with decision-making procedures within an asset management program

  • Leading and working with project teams

  • Investigation, research, and analysis

  • Skill in creative problem solving

  • Skill in written and oral communication, including the ability to describe architectural systems

  • Effectively manage and resolve conflicts between individuals/groups with differing interests

  • Experience with diverse building types and construction materials and methods

  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time

  • Effectively communicate within project teams and client stakeholders

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture, architectural engineering or a related area

  • 3+ years' experience

  • Motivated

  • Excellent written/oral communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

  • Experience coordinating with the field team, performing site surveys, and completing site observations

  • The ability to work with, interpret, and apply National and Local Codes

  • Familiarity with IBC and NFPA

  • Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of REVIT and AutoCAD

  • Knowledge of cost, schedule, and constructability of potential projects

  • Familiar with Codes of Practice and Design Standards
