ADP is hiring a Team Manager. In this position, you'll leverage your people leadership, change leadership, client success and project management expertise to assist the Team Senior Leader in establishing the direction of daily activities, ensuring efficient operations, and creating an overall productive and enjoyable working environment for employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead daily activities of the team to ensure that all work is completed according to scheduled deadlines with attention to quality standards, priorities and overall goals
  • Take a leadership role in driving Business Unit strategic goals. Oversee the use of standard process workflows by team
  • Function as a consultant and business partner to other groups within ADP
  • Train and mentor team members and identify development needs across the team, working to coordinate additional training as needed
  • Track various productivity and performance standards to ensure that established levels are achieved, especially during critical activity periods
  • Serve as an acting backup to the Senior Leader, providing leadership, guidance and direction to team members in the absence of the senior leader
  • Manage escalated issues and provide direction.
  • Collaborate with peers to establish best practices
  • Analyze Associate and team performance and provide the right leadership to improve results
  • Evaluate associates on performance and complete check-ins to ensure performance alignment.
  • Develop and administer corrective action and performance improvement plans.
  • Hire/termination authority in conjunction with Human Resources.
  • May have budgetary responsibility.
  • Oversee Workforce Management to include scheduling, and succession planning.
  • Participate in task forces, strategic initiatives, stretch assignments and collaboration opportunities with other business units

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in service client facing roles
  • At least 3 years of people leadership experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
  • Demonstrated continuing education in the Human Capital Management (HCM) field.
  • In-depth working knowledge in the payroll and/or employment tax service industry.
  • General financial services background.
  • Demonstrates strong oral/written communication skills. Demonstrates strong listening skills
  • Utilizes tools to support daily functions such as Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Personnel management, strategic thinking, and decision making
  • Proven relationship-building skills.
  • Strong change leadership and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
