The Digital Strategy and Insights group is embarking on a summer-long research project exploring the drivers of digital product engagement and incremental usage. The project involves applying metadata taxonomies exploring a variety of content dimensions and then evaluating their predictive potential for incremental digital engagement. We are looking for a summer intern to manage this project and work with senior analysts to complete data collection, statistical analysis and recommendation development. Duties will include managing project deliverables, helping collect data, review data quality and develop statistical models to evaluate predictive value of various components.

Interns will use a SQL data warehouse, Big Query, TensorFlow, Tableau, R, Alteryx and other tools to work with large volumes of data. Experience a plus but willingness to learn is key.

What you will be doing (Specific Responsibilities):
• Collect, cleanse and validate data in a SQL and Big Data environments
• Analyze data to develop understanding and create ongoing reports
• Analyze data and document results
• predictive models (various types) to predict engagement
• Manage project deadlines and deliverables
• Create final project summary report


What we are looking for (Required Qualifications):
• Experience with large data sets and tools such as SQL, Python, R,
• Knowledge of advanced analytics practices and advanced statistics
• Experience landing and cleansing large datasets
• Ability to synthesize results into meaningful recommendations
