ADP is hiring a Director -- HR Business Partner. In this position you will be responsible for planning, directing and delivering Corporate and customized HR services in support of the matrix OneADP location of Maitland, Florida, supporting multiple business units in close partnership with HR peers located in Centers of Excellence and/or in business unit alignment. This partnership includes: Act as site lead for all HR-related needs and in close alignment with site GM, including driving relationships with on and offsite front-line and senior leaders and associates. The successful candidate will contribute to and implement the established HR strategy for assigned locations, ensure a high level of organizational effectiveness through ongoing performance management, support of but usually not direct development of organizational design, analysis and implementation; change management, talent assessments, leadership development and pipeline planning.

  • Contributes to and implements established HR strategy that is aligned to the OneADP Strategy (such as: retention, engagement, community involvement, and talent acquisition to include employee value proposition and talent market branding) while actively participating as a member of the leadership team or assigned location(s).
  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
  • Proactively consult with clients and recommend HR strategic solutions to improve critical business outcomes.
  • Advocate, coaches and supports leaders on performance and talent acceleration related initiatives and projects as well as navigating the complexities of leadership with a focus on retention. Build leadership capability through ADP formal leadership programs in addition to newly built programs as well as intentional connections through knowledge and support of internal cross-business unit talent.
  • Partners with COE's to design programs that contribute to the continued growth and development of our leaders and associates
  • Provides counsel and direction and/or directly handles many associate relations cases in partnership with the Associate Relations COE
  • Participates and plays a lead role on project teams as assigned that may have both business unit and ADP wide impact
  • Conducts/Facilitates training for associates and managers; relating to programs such as Diversity, Ethics, Hiring for Success, Unconscious Bias, StandOut


  • 5-7 years of HRBP experience required, 7-10 years preferred
  • HRBP experience in a matrix environment and/or a mix of COE/regional/corporate/field perspective with the desire and ability to influence and get results in a matrix environment
  • Undergraduate degree strongly preferred
  • HRCI/SHRM Certification strongly preferred
  • Labor relations and/or associate relations COE experience highly desirable
  • Data analytic experience with the ability to translate to solutions/action
