Macrene Actives seeks a dynamic, agile leader; entrepreneurial, collaborative and highly analytical to lead the sales and marketing efforts for a newly launched product range. The Director of Sales & Marketing will develop and execute a global growth plan that delivers topline growth and market share through existent and new distribution opportunities. With a deep understanding of the industry, our consumer, the competitive landscape and industry trends, the Director will develop and execute a marketing strategy to accelerate growth, brand awareness and brand affinity. The Director will build infrastructure to support and train our retail partners and oversee our direct business.

Responsibilities Include

  • Develop business growth plan to accelerate global market penetration, sales growth and P & L profitability
    • Develop and drive sales strategies, ensuring processes and metrics are in place, to hit and exceed revenue and growth targets
    • Strategically evolve Macrene Actives in all distribution channels including department stores, free standing retail, specialty and online
    • Identify new channels of distribution globally
    • Partner with retailers to effectively support and train, and implement growth plans driven by innovative marketing initiatives
    • Explore licensing and strategic partnership opportunities
    • Work with CEO/COO on product development and go-to-market strategies
  • Implement innovative, strategic marketing plan to build wholesale and direct business
    • Oversee and accelerate growth of Macreneactives.com
    • Build multi-channel marketing strategy to drive consumer awareness, engagement and conversion
    • Partner with communications and digital teams to build results driven, measurable initiatives
    • Put in place CRM systems and implement strategies to expand customer base
    • Oversee customer service
  • Evolve infrastructure to support growth
    • Recruit and develop talent
    • Oversee training and education program
    • Manage external agencies
  • Assume fiscal accountability through strategically planned and monitored budgetary guidelines and processes
  • Global travel required to support, train and expand distribution


8+ years related experience in global product sales and marketing

Undergraduate degree. MBA preferred.

Knowledge of premium segment in beauty, wellness and/or fashion

Strong leadership, communication, organizational and project management skills

Cross functional experience in finance, supply chain and product development

P & L management and experience balancing growth and profitability
