The Division Vice President-Sales, SBS Diverse Business Markets provides the overall direction, leadership and strategy to the sales division in order to identify and form alliances and partnerships with clients who represent minority, disability, veteran, LGBTQ and women-owned businesses within the community that benefit from ADP's expertise and shared values. This leader is responsible for the vision, business development goals and outcomes and creating an inclusive and modern strategy for new diverse business channels. This leader identifies areas of the market that can be expanded and developed while focusing on diverse clientele. In this newly created business role, it is critical for the leader to have a proven track record in commercial business development, strategy and the ability to generate new diverse business growth. As a key leader of the Division management team, this role leads and manages the division's revenue, profit and retention goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify diverse owned businesses that would benefit from the ADP product suite to establish strategic alliances; apply best practices in relationship management to identify diverse markets.
  • Develop detailed knowledge and strategy of diverse client capabilities, strategic goals/business plans, and industry landscape, as well as detailed knowledge of diverse client's contracts, agreements, and partnership with suppliers.
  • Encourage, influence and support strategic markets and clients to embed diversity within our robust client suite.
  • Grow revenue and leverage consultative-selling skills to identify customer needs.
  • Directly responsible for new sales in under presented communities and diverse business channels.
  • Provide client-based HCM solutions and track success measures.
  • Produces collaborative solutions to complex strategic and operational challenges; delivers key market feedback and insights.
  • Work closely with direct reports to implement the Business Plan for the area and each region.
  • Feedback results and suggestions to the Division Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
  • Champion to extended diversity and inclusive initiatives, partners with D&I office on broader strategy to expand external partnerships and opportunities to leverage diverse pipelines.
  • Accountable for newly generated sales within required product and market mix.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing or Business Administration/Business Management.
  • At least 10+ years total sales/business experience plus substantial senior sales management experience.
  • Extensive experience in commercial business development, including diverse markets.
  • Strong leadership and consultative skills.
  • Proven track record for growing revenue.
  • Proven sales experience in a related product or service.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and ability to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Expert understanding of service and product, and ability to innovate new ways the product can serve customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.
  • Innate drive to succeed and take initiative.
  • Strong organizational talents and ability to work under pressure and in new environments.
