SAP Customer Experience Marketing is looking for a strong, creative and experienced leader to head the Global Brand Marketing program for the SAP Customer Experience business.  The Global Brand Marketing program is the central function responsible for worldwide promotion and stewardship of the Customer Experience brand through the development and execution of integrated, strategic marketing and communications strategies that will generate global awareness for the division, in alignment with SAP’s overall narrative, reputation and business objectives.


  • Lead, manage, develop, empower, and coach high performing team of individuals in public, industry analyst & influencer relations, customer marketing & references, brand & creative marketing, social media, employee & partner communications, global events, diversity & inclusion initiative within the business unit.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and support leader of the Customer Experience business unit, President and executive leaders, providing comprehensive communication expertise across disciplines, audiences, technologies, tactics, channels, measurement, and proactive and reactive activities. This includes messaging, executive communications, internal communications to the 5,300 employees in this global organization and the company at large.
  • Drive global brand recognition and awareness through a steady flow of engaging, relevant and integrated executive thought leadership content, pitches and opinion pieces that result in key coverage.
  • Engage proactively and frequently in two -way communication with tier one industry analysts, influencers and reporters to educate and positively influence them about the Customer Experience vision, strength and value.
  • Develop industry-leading internal and external communications strategies/programs for employees, customers and partners with on-brand communications approach that align with SAP’s overall narrative/vision and overall business objectives.
  • Build trust and loyalty with Customer Experience customers through a high-touch reference program, Customer Advisory Councils, user groups and webinars that elevate the voice of the customer and build a global community of external brand advocates.
  • Bring spirit and practice of innovation to engage internal and external audiences in new, highly effective, efficient and creative ways that reflect the. Needs, preferences and opportunities of each audience (employees, mass media; e.g. social media, employee/partner/customer comms, etc.)


  • 15+ of years of relevant experience with a demonstrated history of success in designing and executing comprehensive, large-scale, integrated marketing/communications strategies in a high-profile brand
  • Experience with leading edge technology that may include industry transforming technology innovation, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence strongly preferred
  • Deep and broad subject matter expertise in Corporate Marketing & Communications that includes: internal and external, multi-media, social media, multi-generational
  • Excellent risk, crisis and issues management abilities
  • Proven end-to-end capability (vision, strategy development and execution). Able to design and lead large-scale change, integrate work in a fast-paced highly matrixed environment, establish priorities and achieve results
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop and manage high performing teams
  • Superb relationship management, executive presence and communication skills, with a sense of urgency and thoughtfulness. Proven ability to anticipate, provide and debate solutions to complicated issues and be capable of presenting in a clear and compelling manner
  • Individual who thrives in a high intensity environment with multiple and competing priorities
  • Unquestionable business and personal integrity and values congruent with those of the organization
