Purpose & Objective of Position

The purpose of this internship is to provide young/early talent with the opportunity to learn various operational processes within SAP specifically on the Enhanced Managed Services (EMS).  EMS is a service within HANA Enterprise Cloud (HEC) that allows customers to request a larger scope of managed services.   The objective is to support the North and Latin America’s increasing demand on EMS by providing administrative and task-oriented assistance for the EMS service owner in the region. Through the internship program, you will get the ideal preparation you need for a successful start and integration into our team.


Expectations & Tasks

The expectation is that the intern would work approximately 20-40 hours/week in our San Ramon, CA office with the rest of the SAP AMS Service Delivery Managers. 


The intern will assist with various SAP EMS operational back office tasks such as but not limited to:

  • Plan and execute transition of customers into the EMS service
  • Participate in the handover meetings
  • Ensure proper use of EMS transition methodology, tools and procedures
  • Assist in the validation of the EMS contracts
  • Gather information from multiple systems and sources to accurately fill up the Customer Form
  • Recommend process improvements and standardization/simplification of the EMS processes and execution activities.

  • Team player and motivated towards process enhancements
  • Outstanding communication skills, professional, and friendly attitude
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus


Educational Requirements

  • The intern/working student should be working towards a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology. 
  • The expectation is that the intern will work at SAP while they are going to school for a minimum of 6 months with the option to extend.
