Lead Business Systems Analyst, Digital Sales Technology

ADP is hiring a Lead Business Systems Analyst, Digital Sales Technology.

 

In this role you will be working alongside a team of friendly, passionate, and creative product managers and developers to align internal sales technology to business goals.

As a key member of the Digital Sales Technology team, you will perform activities, utilizing analytical skills to solve problems and make recommendations, and build strong relationships with sales and key stakeholders.

You will monitor and work to resolve internal system issues that impact the ability of sales to perform needed tasks and will serve as the first point of contact in the escalation process for issue resolution.

The work will require an ability to pinpoint blocking issues that have been escalated and require team collaboration, as well as seeking support from external teams and advocating for resolution of these issues and identify potential system improvements.

To thrive in this role, you will need to have a technology aptitude and skills in SaaS products. You must be a deep listener who can ask the right clarifying questions to help understand the problem your stakeholders are trying to solve.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the goals of the business and obtain deep domain expertise on ESO/CPQ and our sales technology stack to provide advanced support within the Quote to Cash domain, working on production support, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with configuration engineers to define and implement small-to-medium system enhancements.
  • Solve complex problems; use analytical thinking, analyze sales feedback, error logs and system knowledge to interpret business issues, recommend best practices, and identify innovative solutions to address issues and simplify processes.
  • Key point-of-contact to internal customers on escalated issues. Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view.
  • Track and resolve system issues/impediments and facilitates escalation of issues not resolvable by the team to the appropriate stakeholders to track to successful completion.
  • Leverage domain expertise to lead processes to comply with financial controls and provide requested information.
  • Track and manage system licenses.
  • Collaborate across multiple teams including developers, product managers, configuration engineers and business SMEs to continually drive innovation and make our sales tools the best they can be.

You will have:

  • 8 or more years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role
  • Blend of technical, business and support experience with strong expertise on sales technology such as CPQ and Salesforce. Knowledge of ADP's products and internal sales tools a big plus
  • Experience working with Agile teams and have a good understanding of product delivery cycles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, outstanding communication and organization, dependable team player
  • Comfortable with data and analytics, having both quantitative and qualitative skills
  • Grace under pressure – thriving in a fast-moving, agile environment and comfortable managing competing priorities.
