As Lead Data Security Analyst you will join a highly skilled and focused team providing excellent data & endpoint protection services. We protect sensitive ADP client and company data during handling and throughout the data life cycle. Responsibilities include protecting the company from data exploitation or misuse, leading the enforcement of data security and privacy policies, and preventing malware impacts to mitigate operational risks associated with data in motion and at rest.

The Lead Data Security Analyst will have a deep understanding of data environments and data movement, including protecting end points, data threat vectors, and relevant mitigating controls. You will interact with numerous teams across ADP: IT Architecture, Engineering, Operations, Project Management, Legal, and Data Privacy to develop, enhance and drive the vision and effectiveness of the end point and data security program.


  • Work collaboratively with strategic product, information technology, and information security teams to create and drive a future vision for next generation data security and end point capabilities.
  • Develop, implement and operationalize risk-based end point and data security programs and services. This includes defining goals, metrics, processes, and supporting technologies.
  • Lead efforts to gather/define requirements to develop prevention and detection capabilities that support ADP's data security policies.
  • Own operational services that scan, classify, and protect sensitive data at rest or in motion.
  • Continually improve program outcomes, address gaps, review exceptions, and reduce risk to ADP's infrastructure, processes, and sensitive data.
  • Enable the comprehensive orchestration and automation of security processes to provide rapid incident response and gain efficiencies throughout the technical security services lifecycle.
  • Maintain an expert level understanding of emerging data security and endpoint threats and relevant mitigating controls.
  • Provide consulting services to the business units and IT organizations to educate and ensure adherence with ADP's data security standards and industry best practices.
  • Organize and coordinate supporting services for testing, deployment of new agents, and implementation and configuration of software suites.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance, drive control coverage, and define technical policies to ADP end points including both server and workstation populations.
  • Drive the discovery and prioritize remediation of unstructured data controls to meet audit, compliance and ADP data protection requirements, policies and standards.
  • Ensure global data security initiatives maintain adherence to continually changing privacy and legal compliance requirements.
  • Assess and evaluate end point and data security control effectiveness, and drive towards improved control effectiveness, consistency and maturity across the organization.
  • Mentor and provide guidance and expertise to other team members.
Experience required:
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in cybersecurity roles including planning, implementing and running security capabilities
  • Strong analytical skills and cross-functional knowledge of multiple cybersecurity disciplines
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with next generation antivirus (NGAV), data leakage prevention (DLP), structured and unstructured data protection (UDP) technologies and approaches
  • Functional experience working in a global hybrid cloud environment, including AWS and Windows O365
  • Functional experience with databases, business intelligence (BI) reporting and SQL query language.
  • Knowledge and working experience defining and documenting business processes and controls
  • Knowledge and working experience with Digital Rights Management (DRM), data tagging, and encryption technologies and solutions
  • Experience with a major scripting language (Perl, Python, etc.) for systems automation is a plus
  • Creative thinker that leverages unconventional and innovative ideas to solve problems
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal presentation and written communication skills with the ability to communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff
  • Must possess a high degree of integrity, be trustworthy, and have the ability to work independently
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information / Cyber Security, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent education and experience
  • Information Security certifications desired: CISSP, GSEC, CISA, CISM, CRISC
