POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager Learning Programs manages the team responsible for demand management, resource management, scheduling of all client and associate learning offerings available through the Enterprise Learning Center of Expertise (CoE), program coordination and billing. The primary purpose of the Manager Learning Programs and the team is to ensure our schedule of Enterprise Learning offerings matches the demand and that all the necessary administration and support is provided to make the learning experience efficient and effortless for our associates and clients. This position will work closely with Leaders both in the CoE and the business units to ensure class availability and resource needs are identified and sourced to ensure client and associate satisfaction.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Manages team work load including; assigning roles, responsibilities and projects.
  • Working with Facilities Department to review classroom usage to ensure necessary space is available.
  • Conducts performance appraisals and makes compensation decisions.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring and supports continuous learning and staff development that enhances individual performance and team capabilities.
  • Accomplishes financial objectives by tracking actuals and providing forecasts for their team; participates in the preparation of an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Contributes to long range strategic planning for the department and Enterprise Learning organization.
  • Develops and implements plans to execute on department and cross-functional organizational goals and strategies.
  • Builds and cultivates relationships with ADP learning leadership, Call Center leaders, HR technology and support, and other groups/leaders critical to the success of this position.
  • Participates actively on learning support and administration-related external boards, advisory groups, local chapters, etc. to provide thought leadership in the market and bring an outside-in-perspective to the role.
  • Manages function to ensure high quality, cost effective output that positively impacts business results.
  • Monitors performance and operating standards of the technology ecosystem and team.
  • Captures and analyzes broad range of metrics to provide insights, demonstrate impact and drive continuous improvement.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of related experience including 2+ years of people leadership (direct or indirect)
  • Strong project management experience
