Cox Media Group – Tulsa – is looking for a Remote Coordinator to assist in the execution of station live broadcasts, promotions, community service efforts and event marketing opportunities. 
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with technology and electronic equipment and well-versed in the use of social media as a promotions tool. On-site events include advertiser sponsored events and station sponsored events, i.e. live broadcasts, remotes, concerts, community service appearances, and talent appearances. The candidate will also be expected to converse comfortably with the public in an outgoing and friendly manner. Other duties may be assigned.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for executing various aspects of promotional events and opportunities as they pertain to both the sales and programming departments, including staffing remotes and events, and assisting in the implementation of contesting.
  • Assist in the maintenance of station social media platforms.  Must be able to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment and be extremely passionate about promotions while able to juggle many responsibilities.


  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Successful applicants must be organized, dependable, and self-motivators. 
  • Must be technically proficient with electronic equipment and willing to learn new technologies. 
  • A professional appearance, friendly demeanor, and clean driving records are required. 
  • Valid Driver’s license required.
  • Experience with social media is expected.
  • The candidate must be to work flexible hours depending on needs --- including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
