RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor legal and industry developments that may affect human capital and human resources compliance strategy.
  • Review, interpret and identify impact of legal developments to the HRO(Human Resources Outsourcing) Shared Services organization with a strong focus on human resources generally and leaves administration specifically.
  • Work directly with Legal Department to understand legal developments and assess area needs.
  • Demonstrate strong capabilities to engage directly with senior leadership on strategy and be able to pivot to granular detail within working teams.
  • Lead all project phases and multiple workstreams, including initiation, planning, documentation, execution, monitoring, control and closure
  • Manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities.
  • Ensure milestones are successfully met through oversight of project vehicles and coordination of resources.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments impacting project.
  • Lead communication with stakeholders and team members through completion of the project.
  • Direct project timeliness and budgets.
  • Assess, manage, resolve and escalate (if necessary) risks and issues.
  • Employs highly developed consultative skills.
  • Tailor processes to meet the needs of individual projects.
  • Make decisions based on information and input in a timely manner.
  • Provide analysis of project, including business case, ROI and post-project review (if needed).
  • Drive innovation, best practices and achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Work on projects of high complexity.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior or Management, or Engineering.
  • At least 3-5 years of project management experience.
  • Experience managing medium to large cross-functional and/or multi-year projects with multiple stakeholders while paying attention to detail in a fast paced and rapid change environment.
  • Experience reviewing legal developments and translating requirements to a project plan.
  • Commitment to being accountable for results.
  • Strong team leadership and ability to delegate responsibility to all levels of the project team and hold team accountable for deliverables.
  • Collaborative approach to work.
  • Experience with project management tools and structured methodologies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • PMP or equivalent professional project management certification.
  • PHR, SHRM or equivalent certification.
  • Prior Human Resources compliance or employment law experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of functional area and related company products.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with multiple functions/organizations to identify and negotiate required resources.
  • Able to leverage data, analytics and insights to drive decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to manage across formal organizational lines.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Visio.
  • Ability to interface with and present to all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of building relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong focus on client service.
  • Ability to think independently and make decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
