Sales Messaging Manager

ADP is hiring a Sales Messaging Manager as part of the Sales Enablement team within Worldwide Sales and Marketing. The Sales Messaging Manager is responsible for creating and curating buyer-focused messaging across all ADP Sales that focuses on buyer outcomes and enables the buyer and seller throughout the sales process specifically within the Channel (Center Of Influence) space.


To achieve this, the Sales Messaging Manager will have a focus on helping Sales to deliver insights through industry trends and market challenges aligned to verticals by leveraging client data, external sources and sales input.



Duties Included:

  • Provide the field with insights and data deliverables to leverage in their sales process. Insights refers to research that is important to the buyers in the ADP marketspace and aligned with potential challenges impacting their organizations.
  • Utilize internal and external tools to gather and deliver data to the field or facilitate their ability to deliver insight and relevant data.
  • Collect and manage various points of data & research and simplify into a consumable format for Sales to leverage when engaging with a buyer in a specific vertical
  • Identify and communicate areas of opportunity for the field to further differentiate from the competition.
  • Provide market challenges to the field through deliverables, webinars, podcasts and social
  • Align with Product Marketing to update any internal BU or POV messaging that impacts a vertical
  • Align with Learning to help drive profiling/executive conversations around messaging and vertical outcomes
  • Provide research based on vertical trade publications, sales round table discussions, third party research and client interviews
  • Provide ongoing best practices to improve messaging execution in the field through Gartner, CVI and other messaging consultant partners
  • Meet with DMs to assess needs and access to messaging as well as gaps to support - this includes field rides, round tables and webinars



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Messaging and Design Skill a plus
  • 5+ years Sales or Sales Operations experience


  • Knowledgeable on messaging best practices on leading with insight and educating the buyer
  • Highly organized
  • Understanding of Marketing and ability to work alongside the function
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Works well under pressure, has a high tolerance for stress & comfortable in change
  • Analytical thinker
  • Outstanding organizational & time management skills for managing multiple, diverse & conflicting activities
