ADP is hiring a Marketing/creative writer: Communications Project Coordinator. In this position, you'll be a "go-to" for writing content within ADP's hyper-growth business called Human Resource Outsourcing. This role is charged with creating experience-infused communications to all three of our target audiences including clients, their workers and our own associates who work at ADP.
This is a leading customer relationship team that leverages the power of creativity, the beauty of an idea and the magic of technology to nurture, encourage and sustain strong relationships between brands and their customers.
You are more than a writer, you're a creative strategist and a quick learner. Your copy is fresh and clean, free of clichs and grammatical errors. Plus, you're constantly seeking new means to the story and you have a powerful portfolio of writing samples to back it up.
When it comes to content, while you have experience, you want to become a master of the art of writing for every channel be it: e-mail, web, mobile, presentations, corporate communications or more.
You are also seasoned and comfortable with stakeholder management -- serving as a liaison between the business needs and the communications team -- helping balance priorities, timelines, resources and capacity.
Things You'll Do:
  • Develop communication touch-point/strategic direction for the business -- Determine the game-plan to drive overall communication approaches across defined target audiences with appropriate messaging, channels, and measurement.
  • Create overarching communication platforms and programs to drive engagement against HRO strategic initiatives across clients, worksite employees and internal associates.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects by helping intake and evaluate work requests, balancing work in queue and stakeholder expectations to help set priorities for success.
  • Concept, design and execute on a clear and compelling value proposition. Identify partnerships that ADP HRO should source to effectively execute and maximize effectiveness of content delivery. This may include identifying and managing relationship with external creative agencies and content vendors.
  • Support ADP HRO leadership in effectively communicating key product, service, pricing, compliance and other functionally led initiatives. Includes ongoing management of client/worksite employee portal and newsletter communication.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize communication effectiveness using ADP employees to drive client/worksite employee awareness and engagement.
  • Work closely with internal resources across ADP to effectively go-to-market across a variety of initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Writing, Communications, PR or related field or equivalent in education and experience
  • At least five years of relevant work experience
  • Candidate must be local to Alpharetta (or surrounding Atlanta area)
  • Minimum of five years of related experience in marketing, communication, creative writing or role that focuses on creating targeted and measured programs deployed across a variety of touch-point channels
  • You have regularly produced highly visible material for senior level executives in various forms -- speeches, presentations, public press announcements
  • Enjoy working on multiple high-priority projects and processes in a fast-paced and ever-shifting environment
  • Can balance stakeholder expectations and carefully speak with senior leaders about priority work for successful capacity planning
  • Believe in the importance of writing in a corporate tone -- applying empathy and a "human" voice to communications -- while layering in AP style flawlessly
  • Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills for handling multiple and conflicting activities
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • You have demonstrated the ability to develop strategic communications for different audiences inclusive of B2B, B2C and employees
  • You have handled highly sensitive confidential information with the utmost ethical practice
  • Strategic thinker with broad perspective and, at the same time, demonstrates an acute attention to detail and ability to execute flawlessly
  • Experience working collaboratively in matrix environments and managing external partners
  • A high degree of comfort collaborating with senior leaders and across different functional groups

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
