Employer Services International (ESI) is hiring a Senior. Director to lead product management for our global payroll platform which connects and unifies multiple country payrolls into a single, unified solution. The global payroll platform is part of the Multi Country Payroll product line which enables offering payroll services in 140+ countries and is the largest business within ESI.

In this position, you will own the product strategy and execution to take our global payroll platform to the next level. Leading a global team of product managers, the right individual will own the strategic direction, executable roadmaps and measurable outcomes partnering with ESI business owners. Critical will be leading the product team to drive product innovation, vision and strategy while executing on a product roadmap that aligns and meets the needs of business objectives and goals. In addition, the Sr. Director, Product management is responsible for ensuring the platform achieves margin/profit objectives. The position reports directly to the VP and CPO of Multi Country Payroll.

Responsibilities:

  • Help define, manage and execute individual product strategies and roadmaps, while managing the overall global payments platform portfolio. Partner with product leaders in ESI and across ADP's portfolio of products, business stakeholders and development teams at ADP.
  • Identify product themes and initiatives based on market competitive analysis, client feedback and RFP requests to aid our product strategy and keeping our market leading position.
  • Define the vision for the end-to-end customer experience journey, for web and mobile, from sign-up, setup, to use, contextual and in-product help, partnering with our content, product management and experience design teams.
  • Identify and work with Business Development to consider new partnerships or acquisition targets to broaden or enhance a product portfolio.
  • Establish and help manage multiple product roadmap(s) and help show the cross product (portfolio) roadmap. Drive visibility to trade-offs among priorities, strategic bets and other considerations as applicable.
  • Lead a team through rapid, data driven iterations focused on customer and stakeholder outcomes.
  • Provide executive leadership support as needed through product presentations, executive engagements and other means.
  • Measure product(s) effectiveness, identify trends, report outcomes and drive priorities to improve.
  • Mentor and develop a team of product managers to enhance their career trajectories as well as their contributions to our customers and our team.
  • Clearly be able to articulate the vision, strategies, priorities and desired outcomes with key partners across ADP.
  • Leverage usability studies, business and product usage data, external industry trends, and metrics to generate insights.

Qualifications:

  • 8-12+ years' experience leading and managing agile design driven product managers, in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
  • 6+ years thinking creatively, showing passion and ability to identify and deliver new product innovation, ideally in the Payments space.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively across functions with the ability to gain shared vision on challenging decisions and priority trade-offs.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical issues simply and convincingly to drive fast decisions.
  • Patience and commitment, with proven ability to navigate complex environments though product expertise and leadership.
  • Passion and dedication to delivering great outcomes through an awesome customer experience.
  • Experience researching relevant industry trends, usage analytics, competitive pressures and applying to product strategy and roadmap.
  • Strong analytical orientation and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to create a clear, concise presentation of findings, and effectively present to any level of the organization. Identify the critical few priorities and keep a cross-functional team focused on them.
