Job Title: Senior Platform Engineer

Location: New York, NY

Job Duties:

ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Platform Engineer at our New York, New York location. Responsibilities: Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, constructions, testing, reviews, and demonstrations. Develop and review software requirements, create design documents, write programs, and package, test, configure, and deploy software. Work with users, product managers, analysts, architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement information technology solutions. Develop and enhance software programs and data structures that meet business objectives. Design, develop, test, and refine software deliverables. Review and create system, software, and functional design specifications.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master's degree plus two (2) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience.

Work Experience:

Two (2) years of experience must include: Java, JavaScript, Python or Go; Service Oriented Architecture; Microservices Architecture; REST; OOAD/OOP; Relational databases including MySQL or Oracle; NoSQL databases including DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redis or Couchbase; Graph databases, including Neo4j; AWS technologies, including SQS, SNS, EC2, ECS, Kinesis, and RDS; Containerization platforms, including Docker or Kubernetes; and Unit testing frameworks, including JUnit and Jest.
