Title: Senior Solution Sales Executive – Pacific Northwest (SAP Ariba)

Location: Home Office, Portland or Seattle preferred

A Senior Solution Sales Executive’s primary function is to sell SAP Ariba’s software applications and Network solutions to prospective and existing Fortune 1000 Named Enterprise customers located in the Pacific Northwest region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing software/service revenue for both new and existing SAP Ariba customers
  • Build relationships with key executives and decision makers within assigned accounts
  • Form strategic account plans including customer profiles, targeted programs, application descriptions, forecast reports, and action items
  • Develop and maintain technical and marketing knowledge of the entire SAP Ariba solution suite.
  • Develop, share and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all key competitors.
  • Interact with the current sales organization and other SAP colleagues in pursuit of overall customer satisfaction.
  • Assume full responsibility of quota attainment as agreed to and communicated by the Sales Vice President.
  • Participation and involvement in applicable industry conferences both internal and external
  • All other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Past software sales experience in the following areas including Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Sourcing/Contracts, Finance/AP, or ERP
  • Exceptional presentation skills required
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills required
  • Ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust across multiple organizational levels including C-level executives
  • Highly professional written and oral communication skills required
  • Ability to work effectively in a sales team environment, often times in a complex matrix
  • University degree required

Basic Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 5 or more years of successful enterprise sales experience along with a strong history of quota attainment required
