Purpose and Objective: SAP America, Inc. seeks a Senior Support Engineer at our Newtown Square, PA office location responsible for understanding and proceeding on the new business models and operational challenges of our MaxAttention, Active Embedded, and Enterprise Support customers.

 

 

Expectations and Tasks: Under the umbrella of MaxAttention Next Generation, provide the necessary methodology and content to drive the innovation agenda with continual redefining of requirements and industry business models.  Proactively engage with our Premium Engagement and Enterprise Support customers using a holistic approach to analyze, understand and define action plans for customer’s situation. Support our customers in increasing the value they get out of their SAP Solution with reduced Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Resolve production down situations and escalations to secure maintenance revenue and protect the SAP brand. Build supportability features, standardize and automate delivery of content and invent new delivery models.

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study and 6 years of experience required.  The company will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience.

 

 

Work Experience: Experience must involve at least four years of experience in the following: migrations and upgrades to suite on HANA using downtime minimized methodologies such as Near Zero Downtime Maintenance and Downtime Optimized DMO of SUM; S/4HANA conversions using traditional approaches; defining the strategy for business continuity management; HANA administration focusing on the performance and tuning; defining the project lifecycle steps including analysis, design, development, implementation, support and enhancement; end-to-end analysis of issues and guide towards solution; defining the technical architecture for the landscape covering the infrastructure and sizing aspect transitioning to HANA and S/4 HANA; and change and release management.

 

 

Travel: 60% travel required.
