The Solution Design Team is made up of individuals who support the talent organization and our clients by providing consulting services, domain expertise and product expertise.


  • Develops solutions and recommendations to client needs through the use of ADP's systems and products; understands impact on scope and timelines.
  • Works with external clients to understand and collect customer business requirements.
  • Responds and reacts to a variety of critical issues simultaneously.
  • Facilitates effective dialogue with clients to fully understand their business strategy, process, key drivers, and technology to identify solutions to meet their goals
  • Expected to deliver existing services as well as create new products and services. Specific emphasis is on continuously building new and unique services that provide meaningful and significant value to our clients.
  • Act as a coach/mentor to others in the organization
  • Support the marketing of products and services, supporting ADP Sales Associates as requested, but are not directly responsible for business development.
  • Work with Product Management in providing feedback to assist future product enhancements.
  • This position requires strong Technical/Functional/Business analysis skills & background
  • Develops relationships with clients and internal teams by building rapport with the user community and key stakeholders.
  • Provide functional product support to internal ADP teams
  • Supervision Received: Minimal; will work independently most of the time, receiving only general direction.
  • Supervisory Authority: Minimal; provides guidance to and assists other team members as requested

BS degree --- preferred

Experience: 4+ years

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
  • Talent management domain experience (system implementation, consultant, application support/client service representative, and trainer).
  • Technical training or equivalent in related technologies and/ or in systems implementations.

  • Product Knowledge and Expertise
  • Problem Solving
  • Strong time management skills, excellent attention to detail and work ethic
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects in a fast paced environment.
  • Keen decision making skills, with the ability to think creatively and on your feet.
  • A self-starter, comfortable and effective working independently and often virtually in a fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of applicable products and services.
  • Demonstrate strong consulting and active listening skills to solve client needs.
  • Uses effective communication and facilitation skills to advise and influence clients at the user, line management and executive levels.
  • Able to work collaboratively with various business groups both internally and externally.
