ADP is searching for a senior director to lead the development of the ADP Marketplace platform. A successful candidate will have prior experience with platform development, APIs, developer engagement and full lifecycle software development.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead vision, strategy, and the technology roadmap of the ADP Marketplace platform
  2. Lead a highly technical team with deep technical expertise and experience
  3. Influence and drive platform adoption with internal and external customers
  4. Influence architecture and design to deliver a highly scalable, reliable and secure platform
  5. Institute software development and quality assurance best practices
  6. Institute agile development processes improve the overall efficiency of the R&D organization
  7. Instill DevOps mindset and establish efficient CICD pipeline
  8. Drive engagement of developers on the platform by providing documentation, tools, and support
  9. Engage with partners and clients to address platform related issues
  10. Build team, team structure and processes to support a fast-growing business

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering or related field
  2. 15+ years of experience in the software development field; experience building a platform is required
  3. 10+ years of hands-on experience with system design and operations
  4. 5+ years of experience managing and leading technical teams
  5. Proven ability to design, and deliver web scale, high growth system with high reliability and availability targets
  6. Experience with development, deployment, and operations in a public/private cloud environment
  7. Good understanding of web application security and best practices
  8. Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development and continuous integration
  9. Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, OAuth2 authorization framework and API Gateways
  10. Ability to lead with examples and influence highly technical team members
